Waste Schedule
- Residential pickup is Monday for trash/recycling.
- Commercial is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Solid Waste and Recycling Details
Residential:
All waste must fit within your residential solid waste container provided by the City. For excess waste, not fitting within your container there are City bags for purchase at City Hall for $10.00 per five bag roll. Any household trash not in the provided container or in a purchased City bag will not be collected.
Residential Rates:
35-gallon container $20.26 per month includes free recycling
64-gallon container $20.26 per month includes free recycling
96-gallon container $20.26 per month includes free recycling
Bulk items will be collected on the first Tuesday of each month. Contact City Hall at (352) 543-5132 the Friday before to schedule a bulk pickup.
Yard waste is collected on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Must be stacked – Paper yard waste bags accepted. No plastic bags.

Construction Debris
Please call Waste Pro directly at 352-463-6200 if you need construction debris collected, as that is not included in your regular billing. City dumpsters are not to be used for the dumping of such materials. If you see someone violating this policy, please call City Hall to report the incident.
Billing
Commercial Billing will be Monthly and Due By the 28th of each Month
Residential ***as of October 1, 2022, all residential trash billing will be handled by the Levy County Tax Collector and placed on your residential tax roll bill***
