NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE ENACTMENT
The City of Cedar Key, Florida proposes to adopt the following ordinance:
ORDINANCE NUMBER 520
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CEDAR KEY, FLORIDA; AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE VI, FLOOD REGULATIONS, TO ESTABLISH A PROCEDURE FOR APPROVAL OF ACCESSORY STORAGE SHEDS; AMENDING SECTION 06.07.09 TO ADD A DEFINITION FOR ACCESSORY STORAGE SHED; AMENDING 6.07.16 TO PROVIDE STANDARDS FOR APPROVAL OF ACCESSORY STORAGE SHEDS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING CODE PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed ordinance on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at City Hall, 490 Second Street at 6:00 p.m., at which time interested parties and citizens may appear to be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the City Commission will consider the ordinance for approval.
If any person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at said PUBLIC HEARING, he/she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public at the offices at the City Clerk at City Hall, 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida.
